Spa business that used to be a seasonal type of business has started picking up in Davao City with more clients patronizing the services offered. MediSpa business manager Rayanne Arao told Davao business reporters that they had been experiencing even on non-peak period like January to have clients other than their regular customers.
They used only to have out of town clients from neighboring areas but now many Davao City residents are now among their regular clients.
“There is really an improvement as far as to the number of customers they served and we attribute this to the satisfaction of clients after trying our services,” she said.
Most of their clients are very particular on the condition of the facilities especially with regards to safety and sanitation.
Arao said what they observed before is that they are labeled as one very expensive facility but this impression was changed even as she said that customers getting the true value of their money would not hesitate to patronize the spa.
The MediSpa is themed as one relaxation center and the setting is made in such a way that the client after being served has total satisfaction.
It has a setting likened to a resort with the ambiance very conducive to relaxation.
Their therapists get regular updating of the services and their giving of the therapy is very professional and businesslike.
The therapists are not allowed to undertake services that only a dermatologist is authorized to administer.
The MediSpa is closely monitored by its owner dermapathologist/dermatologist Dr. Victoria Guillano, chief executive officer who sees to it that when traveling abroad she is never misses trying other Spas abroad and when there are new products she tries it herself.
For the product offered in the Spa especially on simple skin therapy Guillano herself conducts training to the therapists and for them to do actual demo for her to check if the therapist are doing the right procedure.
Guillano said skin handling is to be done with care and those with problematic skin are to be handled only by a dermatologist.
Among the sought after services offered at MediSpa are the Pearl Mask, Facial Microdemavrasion and Breakout Control Facial.
