After hosting for over a month of visitors from Queensland and California at home I gave myself a two days off before going back to work and started writing again.

The traffic was heavy at home those days but when all the guests left and my husband at work and the kids in school, the house was so quite even if the tv was on. In between I got text messages from them informing me of their first stop and so on and so forth until they reached their final destination. And to be told too that they miss the fun they had in Davao City.

I was a bit lazy that Tuesday morning and when I started picking up things from the pile of linens and sheets to be washed I saw on the wall mirror my hair not having the form and the body. It has grown long yet dull and no longer shiny. And because I want a well groomed hair ever since I started moving because on the next day it will be my first day to report for work for the year as I was on leave since mid December last year.

After I delivered the soiled stuff to the laundry shop my next stop was the hair salon for a cut but when I entered the salon I spotted that “hair spa” notice.

Nice who is the gay assistant asked me what I need and told him I want my hair fixed and asked about the hair spa. After agreeing to it he first shampooed my hair then had it covered with a mint flavored gel.

He then started brushing my hair using a hair brush with large bristles and massage the scalp with repeated action. Let the gel stayed for over 30 minutes then rinse. While the gel stayed on my hair I felt the coldness on my scalp very soothing as if it had penetrated my scalp scraping all the excess oil and a thorough cleansing some kinda relaxing as it also had sweet smell.

The spa included a blow dry and a hair cut of which I chose a layered cut as mine is a shoulder length straight hair. And presto my hair again shines and very silky up to this time.
